Welcome to my website. I hope that you enjoy looking at my art. The whole point in creating is sharing. I am a baby boomer, coming late to watercolor, but finding a great new future. The luminous, vivid colors intrigued me from the first moment I tried it. Then the challenge of the medium hooked me.
I take my photos for reference , and enjoy plein air painting, and figure drawing from life. My art is for me, but it is also for my viewers. I paint what is around me, favoring local landscapes, set up still lifes, and portraits. I paint what I know and love, sharing my vision, helping others to see and value what maybe common and ordinary.
I strive to use watercolor’s inherent beauty to elevate the everyday into the extraordinary. Welcome to my world.
